Dine Beneath the Stars
Staying at Demeure Des Vieux Bains was a wonderful experience. The hosts, Veronique and Olivier, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The medieval setting makes one feel transported back in time, and the ambiance at breakfast in the stunning dining room, complete with exquisite croissants and rose petal jam, was a daily highlight. What set this place apart were the dinners. being served local dishes under the stars on the terrace was truly magical.
However, navigating the entrance can be tricky, especially at night with limited lighting. Make sure to arrive earlier in the evening to avoid any confusion. Additionally, the size of the parking area can be somewhat tight for larger vehicles, so plan accordingly.

Staying at Demeure Des Vieux Bains was a delight. The Medieval Suite stood out with its spacious layout, a king bed, and a modern bathroom boasting a fancy multifunction shower. I loved the ambience created by the beautiful stone walls and leaded windows. The covered patio allowed me to enjoy a glass of wine despite the rain. Dinner nights were a real treat! Starting with melon and ham, then duck breast, and ending with crème brûlée, all for only 25€. Veronique and Olivier, the owners, were fantastic hosts, making the experience even better. A few blocks from downtown, I could easily walk to The Rose Garden and old town. However, I learned to specify room arrangements for future stays, as the layout of the Family Suite was not as expected with a cramped second bedroom.

Family with children will love it
The lodge is amazing, walking through the garden with fountains. Every room is spacious and uniquely designed, we felt right at home, especially with the huge family suite we had, it was comfortable enough for all of us. Breakfast in that fine dining room, I mean, wow, excellent ceilings and beautiful decor, not your average hotel meal. We were 5 min from the old city, perfect for exploring all those medieval spots.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but worth it considering all the perks.
